14 to 16 Course Information

Hartlepool College of Further Education has a range of vocational courses for you to study whilst you are still at school.  You can take these courses as part of your year 10 and year 11 GCSE studies at school.

We can offer a range of vocational courses, including the new Diplomas, in the following curriculum areas:

Diploma LogoHospitality and CateringDiploma LogoTravel and Tourism
Diploma LogoHair and Beauty StudiesDiploma LogoSport and Active Leisure
Diploma LogoCreative and MediaDiploma LogoInformation Technology
Diploma LogoSociety, Health and Development

Diplomas are also available in: Motor Vehicle Engineering, ChildCare and Health & Social Care.

Application and selection for these courses is through individual schools and your school must choose to offer these programmes as part of their GCSE options.  Please do not fill in an application form or apply directly to the College – discuss this with your careers teacher or Head of Year in the first instance.
