  • Able to create energy/enthusiasm necessary to be effective and have the tenacity to overcome obstacles.
  • Have a broad-based view of issues and events and be able to perceive their long-term impact.
  • Able to demonstrate a knowledge and understanding of facts, and to think laterally and arrive at pragmatic solutions.

Experience:

  • Most likely to be employed in a senior position in the public or private sector or be a leading member in local community activities.

Certain vacancies may require professional qualifications to ensure the Corporation has a balance of skills eg legal, financial, HR etc.

 

Time Commitment:

  • Available to attend seven or eight meetings of the Board per year. Most meetings take place as follows:

Main Board : 5.00 pm – 7.00 pm / Sub-Committees : 5.30 pm – 7.30 pm
