Successful colleges always need to be way ahead of the game in terms of their resources, and Hartlepool College features a wide range of equipment and expertise dedicated to the production of printed, online, audio and video materials that it uses for both promotional purposes, and in the delivery of its courses and training.

An in-house creative design and media section, staffed by qualified, industry-experienced professionals, produces the massive volume of flyers, posters, leaflets, prospectuses and learning materials required by the College, as well as its website, multimedia materials, stills photography, and broadcast-quality promotional films. A high-tech copying center offers high quality print resource from both paper and digital originals, in both full colour and black and white, at quantities both large and small.  

What is less well known is that all of this professional talent and state-of-the-art technology is available for hire to business and industry. Our clients are both large and small, and we consider all projects. Recent work includes:

• print, multimedia and film work for the Hartlepool Business Awards Gala Dinner and the FE Plus Awards;
• online web-based training materials for Huntsman;
• a multi-section DVD for Tees Valley Work Based Learning;
• the filming and production of a series of masterclass lecture DVDs for Tees Valley Engineering Partnership;
• the creation the acclaimed and internationally shown film “We Know the Sea” that formed part of the successful 2010 Hartlepool Tall Ships bid (worth an estimated £50 million to the town’s economy);
• a 22 minute film for the NHS in support of a bid to Government for a multi-million funding package.

As well as shooting and editing films (including lighting and sound recording where necessary), we also offer a full scriptwriting service and can offer a number of voice artists for narration purposes.
