A learning environment, which enables you to access the latest in information technology education. This is available to you 50 hours each week including 9 - 1 pm on a Saturday.

The learning centre is modern, reflecting the workplace and supporting learners in a relaxed and comfortable learning environment.

Access IT has a team of tutors, a centre manager and administrators who ensure you receive a quality learning experience, whilst achieving a nationally recognised certificate in Information Technology applications e.g. Word-processing, Spreadsheets, Databases, Desktop Publishing, Presentation Graphics, Web-Site Design, Internet and Email.

Attendance is flexible (3-6 per week). We encourage learners to identify an attendance pattern, which meets their lifestyle. Progression through the qualification is determined by the learner and reviewed at set points by centre staff.

We attract learners from a wide variety of social and domestic backgrounds. Learners attending the centre consist of young and old, employed and unemployed, a varying mix of skill levels from total beginner to the more experienced, however all have a common goal which is to develop and widen their IT skills.

Learners are given the confidence and knowledge to aspire to meeting the demands of ever changing Information Communication Technologies (ICT).
