In March 2012 the College's Higher Education provision came under the Quality Assurance Agency (QAA) Integrated Quality Enhancement Review (IQER). The IQER focused on the College's procedures, policies and practice in terms of the teaching, learning and assessment of its university-level provision. The QAA had confidence in the way the College managed its HE provision, as well as in the quality of learning opportunities for HE students.

Additionally, the College's Higher Education students completed the annual National Students Survey (NSS) and the latest results (2010) highlight that the overwhelming majority of the College's HE students were satisfied with their HE experience.
