For nearly half a decade the College has worked with business and industry to supply high quality apprentices for a range of sectors. With this track record it’s perhaps no surprise that the College is now one of the largest providers of apprenticeship training in the North East.

These key partnerships also provides a great platform for success, the College has excellent success rates in apprenticeships and many of the intermediate and advanced apprentices progress to higher education following higher national, foundation degree and bachelor degree programmes in our superb new higher education centre supported by Teesside University.

The College is accredited with the Training Excellence standard which recognises high quality providers, while we are a preferred provider for four National Skills Academies: Nuclear, Process Industries, Manufacturing and Environmental Technologies. The College has successfully been short listed for two national Beacon awards in consecutive years and Ofsted consistently rate our work with employers as ‘outstanding’.
