Commercial Laundry Company pledge to upskilling their workforce
The Stanland Group Ltd, Stockton-on-Tees has recently committed to training by registering for the Skills Pledge. Its service and sales team have pledged to up-skill in areas that are key to the business. The team have completed electrical, ICT and Administration qualifications and realised the potential of making the business more effective, productive and competitive by means of employing 2 apprentices. This has been offered through Hartlepool College of Further Education.
Sarah Cowley, the Business Support Manager for the group told us "The Stanland Group are proud to be Investors in People and have recently registered to Skills Pledge Commitment. We are committed to offering our team every opportunity to develop. We recently sent seven delegates on a Microsoft Excel course at Hartlepool College. They ranged from not knowing one end of a mouse from another to just needing a bit of a refresher. All seven came back and reported how good, appropriate and helpful the training was."
