Dressing Up for Haiti
Staff and Students joined together to raise money for the victims of the Haiti earthquake. The devastating earthquake measureing 7.3 on the Richter scale struck Haiti on 12 January 2010, killing hundreds and affecting thousands more.
The earthquake hit the capital Port-au-Prince and other areas of the country. The most affected area is Haiti's West Province with a population of 2.2 million. The most urgent needs at this time are search and rescue, hospital care, emergency health, clean water emergency shelter and logistics. Money raised approximately £500 by the College will go to the British Red Cross to help with emergency supplies. Well done to all those who took part.
