A bit of a Do at the Indoor Market!

market-mainStudents from Hartlepool College of Further Education went all out to promote what can be achieved by a career in hairdressing by showing passers by in the Indoor Market the wonderful creations they are learning.

As part of their hairdressing course, the students had to plan, promote and implement promotional activities to increase salon revenue, motivate the team and demonstrate professionalism to the general public.

The students completed demonstrations on the stall of various hair styles and creations that are carried out in the salons. This gave the general public a chance to view the artistic creativity and range of skills that the students develop during their time at Hartlepool College.

Demonstrations were carried out by the students to showcase their work and they wowed the crowds with fantastic confidence in communicating their ideas and by having the ability and charm to banter with the crowds.

Nicola Sanderson their course tutor said, “This event has been very enjoyable, successful and a satisfying task for the students, not to mention promoting the salons in the College. The students carried out all of the demonstrations to an exceptionally high standard showing inventive flair, imagination and incorporating excellent communication techniques with the general public. Well done girls!”
