Vantis Challenge
Awards will be given to those groups deemed to have the ‘most innovative idea’, as well as the ‘most money generated’ at a prestigious awards ceremony in July, so the pressure is on to raise as much money as possible.
Student from the Hartlepool College of Further Education’s Complementary Health Department have decided to create from scratch their own beauty products, and then sell them to staff and students. They will specialise in one particular product each week to demonstrate the range of products they are able to create.
In addition to this, one of their lecturers Paula Strickland will have her head shaved on Saturday 26 June and she is looking for sponsorship for this.
The challenge started with a launch party on Thursday 25 March at Wynyard Hall, where drinks and canapés were served. This proved to be a great opportunity to meet the other teams participating and to collect the all important £50 note!
The challenge will finish on 30 Junevanits challenge image with the prestigious awards event, to which all participants will be invited to attend to celebrate their efforts, and at which the winners will be announced.
