The safety of our students at Hartlepool College of Further Education is paramount to us and we are committed to the safeguarding and welfare of all students. In order to support all learners, we have a dedicated Safeguarding Team of trained professionals who can offer advice and guidance.

The team are:-

Designated Safeguarding Lead - Deborah Caygill (Head of School for Service Industries)

Debbie Hill – Deputy Safeguarding Lead (Head of WARMS)

Welfare Mentors/safeguarding team – Beth Sinclair, Sharon Gray Graeme Reynolds, Lisa Brown

If students have any concerns over their own safety and welfare or the safety and welfare of another student, they should discuss this with their Personal Tutor, a Safeguarding and Welfare Officer or a member of the Safeguarding Team.

Whatever course you choose, you'll get the highest level of training from specialist tutors, benefiting from their knowledge and experience of working not just in education but also in industry.
