Target audience
Those working in the heating and ventilation industry, and have access to welding experience on site.
Entry requirements
Welders aged 20+ with at least 6 months pipe welding experience.
Course content
Candidates can take practical tests in any of the following disciplines:
- Oxy Acetylene
- Metal Arc
- TIG/TAG
Half day training/practice available if required.
Teaching & Learning
Training will consist of a practical to prepare for the test.
Assessment criteria
Weld test

Valid for 3 years.
