The course is designed to be a refresher for individuals who are required to renew their Domestic Hot Water Storage Systems qualification and continue to install, commission and maintain hot water storage systems.
Must have completed a Domestic Hot Water Storage Systems within the last five years.
This half day refresher course is aimed at experienced installers who wish to renew their certificate in Domestic Hot Water Storage Systems. Successful completion of the assessment will allow the installer to demonstrate their competence in the installation of Domestic Hot Water Storage Systems in order to maintain a Competent Persons Scheme, which will allow the self-certification of installations. If the installer does not wish to join such a scheme it will demonstrate competency to the local Building Control Department when submitting Building Control Notices prior to commencing work.
This programme is taught within the high quality Gas Centre at Hartlepool College of Further Education using a variety of theory and practical techniques.
Half day course and assessment.
Upon completion of this one day training course, candidates will have a clear understanding of domestic hot water storage systems and will be able to legally install and maintain hot water storage systems.
