Course content 

This qualification aims to develop your awareness and understanding of behaviour that challenges and its effects. Exploring causes of behaviour, how to deal with situations in an appropriate way and how pro-active strategies can be used to support positive behaviour.

Teaching & Learning 

This is an online course completed via distance learning:

  • Understand behaviour that challenges
  • Understand how to support positive behaviour
  • Understand the importance of effective communication and the management of behaviour that challenges
  • Understand the role of reflection and support for those involved in incidents of behaviour that challenges

Progression 

Learners can access a variety of other distance learning qualifications in similar disciplines. Alternatively, the
wide variety of full and part time courses available at the college will accept this qualification as part of their
entry requirements

Please note failure to complete this qualification in a timely manner may result in an administration charge being applied

You are able to apply online for all courses, however to complete your course enrolment fully, you will need to have an interview and then be accepted onto a course.
