Target audience 

Students progressing from Level 1 and prospective students holding the required GCSEs. This is also an Apprenticeship Programme.

Entry requirements 

5 GCSEs grade D and above. Students with a Level 1 Hospitality qualification will be considered following interview.

Course content 

Students will develop learning through aspirational, theoretical and practical based learning.

Assessment criteria 

Students will be taught in a professional training kitchen to develop competence in preparation for assessment to take place. Preparation for employment with work experience.

Progression 

Level 3 Diploma in Professional Cookery and Hospitality Supervisor.

Other information 

Students will be required to purchase a uniform. There is an expectation that students will work in their own time to complete the necessary reading, homework and assessment work. Students will take part in a taught tutorial programme and will have the opportunity to participate in educational visits.

Application & Enrolment

You are able to apply online for all courses, however to complete your course enrolment fully, you will need to have an interview and then be accepted onto a course. The only courses available to enrol online are Full Cost courses, if you wish to enrol on any other course please call into Student Services or call 01429 295000.

Full Cost course fees are inclusive of VAT.
