This course is aimed at those learners who have already achieved their Level 2 in Beauty Therapy. The programme provides an advanced range of the services available in the Beauty Industry.
L2 Beauty Therapy
In this Diploma you will develop a sound knowledge of health and safety, client care and communication and contributing to the effective running of a beauty salon business. Practical will include pre-blended aromatherapy treatments, electrical epilation, hollywood lashes, spray tan and micro-dermabration and other electro-therapy facial and body treatments. You will practice these treatments at our modern commercial beauty salon. Study will consist of 13 units.
Is ongoing through practical observation with customers and on line exams. There will be a portfolio of evidence to produce. There will also be an exam for functional skills.
On successful completion of this course, you can obtain employment, perhaps as a Beauty Therapist, or progress to a Level 4 Diploma in Advanced Beauty Therapy. Progression is not automatic and you will require good attendance and a suitable reference from your tutor.
All learners will be expected to comply with the industry code of practice for salon dress. Learners will require a kit to support their studies - grants are available for those who meet the criteria.
