COVID 19 UPDATE: Mental Health Support 

If you are feeling low in mood, worried or anxious and require support from the College’s Mental Health Support Team then please email your name, HCFE College, Hartlepool, and your telephone number to 

and someone will contact you. Your Mental Health Support Team is available Monday – Thursday 8.30-5.00pm and Fridays 8.30-4.30pm. Please note that we are not a crisis or out of hours emergency service. If you have serious concerns about your mental health and wellbeing then you must contact your local CAMHS Crisis service on 0300 013 2000 Option 6. You can also contact your College WARM if you need someone to chat to and who can also refer you to the College’s Mental Health Services:

Although we are not in the building at the moment, Student Support can be contacted via various social media channels and are available to answer any questions Monday to Friday (working hours currently may vary) to help inform and/or signpost to other services within the college or externally as appropriate.

Student Support is at the heart of our offer so is located on the ground floor beside the main reception. We believe that student support is essential to a successful learning experience and our staff at Hartlepool College work to ensure that all students have access to the best possible guidance and support systems. Dedicated staff across the team offer a range of tailored support including financial/bursary and transport support, careers/progression and transition guidance, employer engagement activities, personal guidance, welfare, safeguarding, loans and higher eduction; ensuring each student reaches their full potential when studying with us.
