Ambassadors

Our HCFE ambassadors are student volunteers who help around the college in several ways, volunteering for events, fundraising, school visits and more.

Why become a student ambassador?

  • Hands on experience you can add to your CV and UCAS application

  • Develop your soft skills such as communication, teamwork, confidence

  • Meet new people around the college including members of staff and other students.

“I have really enjoyed my experience as a student ambassador because it’s really helped me with my confidence.” Courtney – L1 Dip in Intro to Health Social Care & Children’s & Young Peoples Settings.

Student Council

Our student council are elected members who can offer ideas for Council action which is informed by the Class Representatives, Head of School Question time and our Student Ambassadors. You can be a part of our “You say, we did.” Campaign.

Why be part of Student Council?

  • Learn to be an advocate, be a voice for your peers

  • Develop leadership skills

  • Instil positive change within the college.

Alternatively, it's good to be social, like our pages, follow our accounts on twitter (@HartlepoolFE and @HCFEAdvisers) and join the discussions about the amazing things that happen in college!

Many Thanks

Student Support Team
