National Apprenticeship Week 2021 (Online)

National Apprenticeship Week 2021

For the previous eight years, as part of National Apprenticeship Week, our employer partners have provided information and guidance to over 3000 prospective apprentices and their families during this event. The feedback received from students, parents and employers has been superb.  Unfortunately, the format has to be totally different from previous years, but we are sure you will find it just as useful as the regular format and we look forward to welcoming everyone back into the College soon.

You can take part in our online event this year to learn more about the fantastic apprenticeship opportunities available to you and how to get where you want to be. To be part of the event you need to apply for a relevant course here at Hartlepool College of Further Education for exclusive content which will include;

Employers – discussing what they look for when recruiting an apprentice

Current apprentices – giving hints and tips on where to find apprenticeship vacancies and how to prepare for interviews

Ex Apprentices – hear their story on what their apprenticeship was like and where they are now

Heads of School – find out what the academic Schools within the College have to offer

Apprenticeship ambassadors – the facts on apprenticeship wages, minimum hours that have to be worked, as well as progression routes, etc.

The Online event will run across the week from Monday 8th February to 12th February and each day will be dedicated to the School and its areas you have applied for,
