This course is aimed at school leavers programmes who may wish to enter the Hospitality area of employment.
This course is for those who wish to pursue a career within the hospitality and catering industry upon leaving school. You will gain the following qualification:- NVQ Level 1 Diploma in Introduction to Professional Cookery (7100-11)
This course will help you to develop practical skills and knowledge for a career in the catering industry.

- Effective Teamwork
- The relevant practical skills and knowledge with all aspects of hospitality and catering
- Practical classes in the state of the art Flagship Restaurant and kitchens alongside our expert Chef Lecturers
- Group based activities
- Trips and visits
Successful students may progress on to the Level 2 or pursue apprenticeship opportunities. Career opportunites are:
apprenticeship roles, Commis Chef and Hospitality Team Member opportunities within a range of hospitality settings.
