This programme is aimed at learners who have completed the Level 2 Fabrication & Welding programme and wish to further develop thier craft and practical skills, with a view to progressing to apprenticeships and employment.

This programme is aimed at school leavers who do not meet the entry requirements for Level 2/3 programmes within the School of Engineering, but who seek entry into these programmes. Successful completion of the Level 1 programme, together with a positive endorsement from tutors, will allow learners to progress to Level 2 programmes after one year.

School leavers 16-19

This is for students who want to pursue a career in policing. They will be given all the skills and information that will enable them to progress on to higher education in policing studies, or the policing apprenticeship route.
