What You'll Achieve
Over 15 months, you'll gain hands-on experience and industry-recognised qualifications:
· NPORS Red Trained Operator Cards for four essential construction vehicles
· CSCS carding for industry recognition
· Plant and Vehicle Marshall certification
· Full preparation for employment in construction, civil engineering, and related industries
Your Training Journey
Months 1-3: Foundation and Assessment
The initial 3 months include an induction and functional skills assessment, detailed personal training plan development, and an introduction to construction plant operations.
Months 1-14: Core Skills Development & Advanced Operations
In this period, block release practical plant training begins. We will introduce apprentices to health and safety fundamentals and basic plant operating knowledge.
You will then move on to intensive hands-on training across all vehicle types, covering plant operating knowledge and application.
Months 12-15: Certification Preparation
During this period you will prepare for end point assessment, covering theory and practical elements.
Master Four Essential Construction Vehicles
· Forward Tipping Dumper - Material transportation
· Ride on Roller - Surface compaction
· Telescopic Handler - Lifting and placing materials
· Excavator 360 - Earthmoving and excavation
This comprehensive Plant and Vehicle Marshall and Slinger/Signaller training will support you to direct and manage plant operations safely on construction sites.
Comprehensive Support Throughout
You will receive dedicated tutor guidance throughout your journey, including regular progress reviews and feedback, portfolio building support and guidance, and thorough preparation for end point assessments.
