Celebration of Achievement 2021

The College’s event of the year took place recently, showcasing the wonderful achievements of the top-performing students. The Celebration of Achievement awards ceremony hosted here at the College on Thursday, March 3rd, marked not only a special date in the annual calendar but celebrated a landmark anniversary.

TEN as the event was titled, marked ten years in the College’s modern town centre campus. The audience, including those tuning in via a #livestream for the first time in its history on our Youtube channel, heard about the tens of thousands of successful students that have had their lives transformed since the Stockton Road site opened in 2011.

The main award of the evening, Student of the Year 2021, went to Georgia Hutchinson, who earlier in the evening had scooped the category award for Inclusive Learner of the year. The audience of students, staff, employers and proud family members heard Georgia’s determination, hard work, and exemplary vocational skills in her profession as a trainee chef.
