As you will be well aware, the Prime Minister announced another national lockdown last Saturday evening to commence from Thursday 5 November. This is likely to be ratified in Parliament on Wednesday 4 November and I expect we’ll get specific information relating to our sector thereafter.
In the meantime, this short message highlights how the changes might affect us and our operations.
First of all, I firmly believe we’re in a good place largely down to the practices we’ve adopted since re-opening the College in June. Our hybrid approach to teaching, encouraging staff to work from home where possible and the operations we have in and around the building will largely be unaffected by the changes.
We will have to close the luminary operations (the gym and salons) to external clients.
Other key messages for us all to remember
- Hands | Face | Space
- Report COVID-19 issues to the College in a timely manner
- Visitors to the College are not encouraged during the lockdown period
To recap, I think we’re in a good position and that’s down to the hard work we’ve done collectively to ensure our operations are safe. Let’s keep up this good work to ensure the College remains a safe place to study and work.
Kind regards
Darren
