We can now announce that Hartlepool College of Further Education is on the Register of Approved Training Providers. The Government, as part of the apprenticeship reform, introduced the RoATP as a further measure of quality assurance. The college has, today, been given the approval to continue their work with the many regional, national and international companies that have formed the strong working partnerships that see the college rated ‘outstanding’ for apprenticeship provision by Ofsted, the government's inspectors.
Principal and Chief Executive of the college, Darren Hankey, said, “This is great news for the college, our partners and the local economy. We are amongst the best apprenticeship providers in the country. An accolade that was endorsed recently by Ofsted. The apprenticeship reforms are exciting and we are well prepared to support the many existing companies we work with and all of those new companies that are looking to work with an apprenticeship provider of the highest standard”
