Hartlepool’s award-winning charity games event returns for the third year!

Charitable Student Ambassadors and College staff have once again joined with Changing Futures Hartlepool to bring some family fun to local families during the half-term break. GameCon is a celebration of all things videogame related, and brings together the classic retro systems of yesteryear from the likes of Sega, Nintendo and Amiga with the very latest modern consoles, PC gaming and Virtual Reality.

The event runs for three days from May 31st  to Jun 2nd between 10am and 4pm daily at Hartlepool College, and promises to be Hartlepool’s biggest ever gaming convention. GameCon started in 2015 and has gone from strength to strength, winning an award for Best Youth Project in the North East in 2016. The 2017 GameCon promises to be even bigger and better, with gamers of all ages able to have a go at over forty systems, including every version of the Playstation and Xbox, plus a chance to test their skill playing indoor racing drones.
