This course is aimed at learners 18+ who seek the knowledge and associated skills and behaviours required to work in a variety of roles in cyber security
You are not required to have any prior qualifications to enrol on the course, but you should be 18+. However, you may find it helpful if you have already achieved a level 3 qualification
In order to achieve the diploma at the end of the course, you will need to complete the following units:
- Principles of cyber security
- Cyber security architecture
- Legislation, policies and procedures in cyber security
- Threat intelligence in cyber security
- Risk assessment in cyber security
- Cybe security management
The course will run over the course of the academic year (September - July). As a classroom based unit, you will be required to attend 1 day per week from 9 am - 8 pm
Each unit is assignment based
Completing the course will give the learners the opportunity to progress into industry or higher education within the cyber security sector
