We celebrate the continued success of its students following the recent GCSE results announcement which also marks our 175th Academic year of providing Education to the people of Hartlepool and surrounding areas. While GCSE Results Day have passed, the achievements of our students remain a proud highlight for the College. These success stories demonstrate the transformative impact that working with essential skills assistants can have on those who may not have achieved their desired results at school.
Several students have excelled, including Lonia Mohamad, a 19-year-old who successfully passed both Maths and English and will now progress to the next level at the College. Ruva Chitsike, 17, who enrolled earlier this year with no GCSE grades, has also passed both Maths and English. She will be returning in September to embark on a Level 3 programme.
Additionally, we celebrate the achievements of an adult student who, despite arriving without any GCSEs, passed both Maths and English this year. These accomplishments underscore the College's ongoing commitment to providing accessible and supportive education for all learners.
“We are incredibly proud of all our students who have achieved GCSE success this year,” said Darren Hankey, College Principal, and continued “These results are a testament to their hard work, dedication, and the unwavering support of our essential skills assistants. Here at Hartlepool College, we believe that everyone deserves the opportunity to succeed, and we remain committed to providing the resources and support necessary to make that happen.”
