L1 VTCT EXTENDED CERTIFICATE IN HAIR AND BEAUTY SKILLS

The main purpose of the VTCT Level 1 Certificate in Hair and Beauty Skills is to enable learners to develop thier hair and beauty skill, techniques and knowledge, which will prepare learners to progress to the next level of vocational training.

L1 NOCN DIPLOMA IN SKILLS FOR EMPLOYMENT TRAINING & PERSONAL DEVELOPMENT

This qualification is aimed at learners working at Entry 1 or below who want to develop a range of skills relevant to employment and personal development which will help them to make informed career and progression choices. The programme provides an entry point for learners to gain a qualification to prepare for further academic progression and/or preparation for employment.

L1 ENGINEERING

This programme is aimed at school leavers who do not meet the entry requirements for Level 2/3 programmes within the School of Engineering, but who seek entry into these programmes. Successful completion of the Level 1 programme, together with a positive endorsement from tutors, will allow learners to progress to Level 2 programmes after one year.

L1 C&G CERTIFICATE/DIPLOMA IN CONSTRUCTION SKILLS

The C&G Level 1 Certificate/Diploma in Construction Skills is suitable for you, if you are 16+ and would like to undertake a multi-skilled route into the construction industry. This course is also available to school students pre 16 as a taster into the industry.

The Inspire programme of study has the intent to prepare students in becoming successful in their future aspirations. The course will implement a range of topics which will engage and encourage students to embrace their learning and development.

CHOICES (CHOOSING HCFE OPTIONS FOR INDEPENDENCE, CAREERS, EDUCATION AND SUPPORT)

Hartlepool College of Further Education is providing an exciting new programme of study which includes students having a choice of academic opportunities to suit their individual needs. The intent of the CHOICES programme is to support students who may have difficulties in managing their emotions and behaviour (BESD) and may have found their previous educational setting a challenge.
