This programme is aimed at learners who have completed the Level 2 automotive engineering programme and wish to further develop their craft and practical skills, with a view to progressing to apprenticeships and employment.

L2 INTRODUCTORY WELDING

These qualifications are aimed at people who wish to enter into the welding industry or wish to take up welding as a hobby, but who have little or no experience in this field. It will enable people to gain the basic competences, skills and knowledge of differing processes and specialise in an area of their choice.

EAL L3 DIPLOMA IN ENGINEERING TECHNOLOGY - RAILWAY SPECIFIC

This course is aimed at adults seeking to progress into a career within the Rail Industry.  Delivered on a part time, online basis this course can be suited around current commitments.  Fee remission is potentially available for this programme under the Governments 'Free Courses for Jobs' funding:

C&G L2 NVQ DIPLOMA IN RAIL ENGINEERING TRACK MAINTENANCE & C&G L2 TECHNICAL CERTIFICATE IN RAIL ENGINEERING UNDERPINNING KNOWLEDGE

This course is aimed at adults seeking to progress into a career within the Rail Industry.  Fee remission is potentially available for this programme based on individual circumstances: 19 years plus in receipt of benefits - UC/JSA/ESA Employed and earning less than £33,210 per year (TVCA residents) or £20,319 (non-TVCA residents)
