HNC IN MECHATRONICS

This course is designed for learners who work or wish to work as engineering technicians in the mechatronic design, manufacture and maintenance sector. It has been developed in consultation with local industry, and combines theory and practical work with the focus being on industrial applications.

HNC IN MECHANICAL ENGINEERING

This course is designed for learners who work or wish to work as engineering technicians in the mechanical engineering sector. It has been developed in consultation with local industry, and combines theory and practical work with the focus being on industrial applications.

HNC IN AERONAUTICAL ENGINEERING

This course is designed for learners who work or wish to work as engineering technicians in the aeronautical sector. It has been developed in consultation with local industry, and combines theory and practical work with the focus being on industrial applications.

HNC FABRICATION & WELDING

This course if designed for learners who work or wish to work as engineering technicians in the fabrication & welding sector. It has been developed in consultation with local industry, and combines theory and practical work with the focus being on industrial applications.

HNC ELECTRICAL & ELECTRONIC ENGINEERING

This course is designed for learners who work or wish to work as engineering technicians in the electrical/electronic sector. It has been developed in consultation with local industry, and combines theory and practical work with the focus being on industrial applications.

HNC BUILDING STUDIES

This course is aimed at learners that are employed as construction technicians or trade/craft persons in the building construction industry and having gained suitable experience and/or qualifications.

HNC BUILDING SERVICES ENGINEERING

This course is aimed at learners that are employed within the building services engineering industry as technicians or trade/craft persons in the vocational areas of electrical and mechanical installation, electrical and mechanical design, estimating, supervision or management, building services engineering contracting, heating and ventilation or refrigeration.

FOUNDATION DEGREE IN SPORT COACHING & EXERCISE SCIENCE

Make the move into Sport and Exercise sector with the Foundation Degree in Sports Coaching and Exercise at Hartlepool College. Recent graduates have benefited from the range and diversity of the course units to progress into employment with National Governing Bodies, secondary schools and local authority Sports Development teams.

FOUNDATION DEGREE (FDA) IN PUBLIC SERVICES

Consultations with the emergency services, armed forces and employers have endorsed and the FdA reflects the changing environment of the emergency services and armed forces. This programme has been created in consultation with a variety of employers in the Public Services sector.

CERTIFICATE IN EDUCATION: EDUCATION AND TRAINING (CERT ED)

For teachers/trainers working in the Lifelong Learning sector educational contexts (including 14-19 age range).

BA (HONS) EDUCATION & TRAINING

Those people who work in education either delivering or supporting learning.

FOUNDATION DEGREE SUPPORTING TEACHING AND LEARNING

This programme is suitable for students who are already working or volunteering in a classroom supportive role within an educational setting. The course aims to develop professional practice and increase knowledge in particular when working with special educational needs.
