Covid 19 Update ~ Message from the Principal 060121

FOR STUDENTS;

Dear student,

Once again you have been presented with an opportunity to show the world what you are about.  The chance to clearly demonstrate the ability to work hard, to be resilient and to be self-aware and regulating – some of the expectations we have of you via HARTS.

At this stage, even though the Prime Minister recently said this year’s exams will be cancelled; we don’t know how the grade for your qualification will be derived.  There is still a long way to go for this academic year and, hopefully, we’ll be able to get you back in the College in a few weeks’ time.

In the meantime, you can put yourself in a great position in terms of getting a decent grade for this year by:

  • Attending all online lessons;
  • Being punctual for all online lessons;
  • Engaging in the online lessons in a productive manner;
  • Completing all the work set for you;
  • Being proactive – for example, asking tutors what other work you could be doing.

All the staff at the College are here for you and your tutor is your first port of call.  That said, other staff and services are available if needed.

Information on safeguarding, financial support and Student Services whilst the college is closed please check > https://www.hartlepoolfe.ac.uk/covid-19-update-1

I look forward to seeing you again very soon.  In the meantime work hard, do your best and stay safe.

FOR EMPLOYERS;

First of all, Happy New Year.  I sincerely hope you had a good Christmas holiday and that 2021 will be a brighter year for us all.
