T-LEVEL - ENGINEERING AND MANUFACTURING

If you are looking for a practical approach to learning with real on-the-job experience, a T Level in Engineering and Manufacturing could be your next qualification. Designed by key employers, T Levels are a brand new two year programme choice for school leavers, which ensure you have the skills and knowledge businesses want and prepares you for work, apprenticeships and higher education.

L3 MECHANICAL/ELECTRICAL ENGINEERING

Engineers make the world and Hartlepool College of Further Education’s School of Engineering makes engineers. Do you want to be the next mechatronics engineer, maintenance technician, machinist or design engineer?

L3 FABRICATION & WELDING (CRAFT ROUTE)

This programme is aimed at learners who have completed the Level 2 Fabrication & Welding programme and wish to further develop thier craft and practical skills, with a view to progressing to apprenticeships and employment.

L3 AUTOMOTIVE ENGINEERING

This programme is aimed at learners who have completed the Level 2 automotive engineering programme and wish to further develop their craft and practical skills, with a view to progressing to apprenticeships and employment.

L1 ENGINEERING

This programme is aimed at school leavers who do not meet the entry requirements for Level 2/3 programmes within the School of Engineering, but who seek entry into these programmes. Successful completion of the Level 1 programme, together with a positive endorsement from tutors, will allow learners to progress to Level 2 programmes after one year.
